Thank you for your continued support for our programs and presentations! I am happy to present our 2008 catalog of courses, that I think you will find comprehensive and that continue to enjoy top ratings by participants all across the country.
IMPORTANT ALERT!
As you are aware, the Auditing Standards Board has approved sweeping changes in a number of cornerstone pronouncements by the adoption Statements on Auditing Standards 104 – 111, collectively referred to as The Auditor’s Risk Assessment Process. Our courses that explain the risk-based audit are noted with an asterisk in the title. The changes effected by the new standards will dramatically affect the performance of audits, and will require many firms to “re-tool” their audit approach. These courses provide timely and necessary guidance to auditors on risk theory and practical guidance on implementation that auditors must have to make the transition from procedure-based to risk-based audits. We are pleased to offer this important training to auditors and encourage you to schedule at least one of these courses in 2007 to provide your members and staff with the skills they will need to apply these new standards in audits of December 31, 2007 financial statements.
The fee schedule for 2008 remains unchanged. Conference and state audit organization training prices, of course, remain negotiable. Please give me a call to discuss your conference needs.
Remember that any presentation can be arranged as needed, so be sure to review the “Other Presentations” (those that are less than eight hours) to “mix and match” the training that best suits your CPE requirements.
